Secret Admirer

I found a love note in my locker,
I don't know who it's from,
He quoted Shakespeare,
And said he wrote it just because.
It had been sprayed with cologne,
And, oh, it smelled so sweet,
And since I had never gotten a secret note,
It made this one, really neat.
I tried all day to discern handwriting,
To try to place the quote,
I finally found it in Scene 5, of Act 1,
In Romeo and Juliet, that Shakespeare wrote.
The note itself, after the quote,
Was elegant in it's design,
Talked about being chivalrous,
And not being bold enough to take up my time.
He said he'd leave another tomorrow,
And maybe another hint or two as well,
It doesn't really matter who he is to me, however,
As long as his intrest doesn't quell.
I love this wonderful mystery,
It has me jumping on my toes,
Who in the world could it be,
Only the Secret Admirer knows....

| I really like this. I've been the secret admirer for so long for someone that it's nice to get the perspective of a person who is the reciepient. Glad to see that you're enjoying it. Good luck with your mystery. |
