I betray my sinful lover,
my despair, my sorrow, and my suicide.
I slip into a crevice filled with
hopes and dreams and joyful tears.
I grab at pleasant bubbles
and smile for happy flowers.
I lay in the grass and
roll in the sun, basking in tranquillity.
I run and run,
just to feel the freedom.
But one day I’ll over shoot,
I fall into a deeper hole.
There the darkness shall recover me.
There I shall rendezvous with the sad
destruction of myself once more.

Sometimes we may not know that we've paid already - and yet payment may be just around the corner. Sometimes the conscience, in rememberance, makes us pay. Sometimes, someone else pays for the transgression. A substitute? |

Sometimes the price is good, unless we let it become bad, we make the price with our desires.
