selfstruggles

The wood framed mirror says it all.
It shows a frail, frightened, little girl,
Afraid of all that she sees.
Tired and weak from all the pain
She has had to bear.
She is drained to nothing
But a pale, fragile body
With dark blank eyes
That stare into an empty abyss.
The little girl has become a stale corpse
Walking among the living.
