Rush of Emotion

A million raindrops
Falling across my window
Magnifying my sorrow
A thousand fold
Like glass teardrops
Shattering as they fall
tippity tap.....tippity tap....tap.....SPLAT
There they go
I can't stop them
It's like trying to harness the wind
To capture the unattainable soul
The sadness .... oh deep incredible sadness
Burning in my being
Tension mounts like lava
Burning waiting to erupt
I feel the force threatening
Going to deceive me
Let me down
As knowlegeable as I am I must keep control
But alas the tears start to fall
A virtual visual tidal wave of emotions
Finally set free

i felt like this not that long ago, and i'm feeling it alittle now as well.
you've mentioned every part that happens to people before they blow, or as you put it erupt.
this is excellent! |

just like deathdrop said, this is excellent. It really does resemble a rush of emotions. I can feel it coming out of my computer as I read this... LOL

I love some of the lyrical language. This poem is very freeing, so to speak. Thank you. |
