The Nigh I Wasn't Alone

Away from home, away for good,
Crying to myself way more than I should,
Alone in a city, alone in life,
Keep running, and falling, and taking the knife,
Home isn't where the heart is,
The heart never was,
Never going to look back again cos,
Mummy's alwaus crying, Daddy owns a gun,
You'd think spending time with daddy would be way more fun,
I'm quietly running away now,
To get away from here somehow,
But no matter how far,
What's left is a scar,
From the night I wasn't alone.
