I hide & my insecurities & fears seek,
I run as everyday do I feel increasingly weak,
My fears know exactly where to look,
It’s as if they have written my book.
Hiding in the shadows keeping low,
There’s no point because they already know,
Where I’ll be & they seek me out,
They’ll always win that I don’t doubt.
This game I am not destined to win,
Some days I don’t know where to begin,
There’s a thick fog in front of my eyes,
In the distance my soul often cries.
I pray that my fears this time won’t find,
But it’s as if they can read my mind,
They come from out of nowhere,
I hold my breath, to breathe I don’t dare.
If I shut my eyes maybe they’ll go,
But that won’t happen for certain I know,
I am desperate to let go of my insecurities & fears,
That have plagued me for too many years.

That is a terrific poem pixie, that I know I can most certainly relate too. Conquering fear and insecurity isn't easy to do ... But it can be done. I have faith that you can do it.
