There's a pair of trousers in front of my eyes
So I can't see you
That's better
This way
Backstage, between the whirrings
Shudders
Wanting
It is
A perfect anaesthesia
To see
How a warm and unfamiliar embrace
Can make a wastebin seem inviting
Can suck a whisper in too lightly
Almost empty
Done from owning
Here, within this carrion darkness
Hats and jackets
Fits and names
The undersides of curls
I am the only one to blame
There are scents of christmas
-fresh blood and infatuation
Viscous and ridiculous
I am forgetting
Come, this way
Isn't it enough
To hesitate?
To touch
Regretting?
Enough for those who made you
Treasure every little loss
You loved
Just for the sake of misery
A throated inhalation
And simply catching raindrops
So I can't see you
Here

I really liked this.It wasn't too long. This had the great imagery of the angst we feel in letting go, yet holding on, to something, no longer there.
Good job!
