Sea Of Empathy
Matters not in which direction
eyes of mine are cast, they see
a world of bards be my surrounds
much like a sea of empathy.
Stormy, placid, deep or shallow,
each of these alone can be
a cause to choose and sink in sorrow,
or swim the sea of empathy.
So tread with care, these waters
hold the truth for all eternity
and but one man has ever walked
upon the sea of empathy.

What, not even Jesus?
Jordan, a very touching poem, and somewhat calming. I Like

Nice descriptive text. "Stormy, placid, deep or shallow" is a great description of poetic moods. Cheers! |
