Why cant you see!

Topic: AngryPoetry

Why cant you see what I see,
Are you blind?
Is there something you are hiding,
or are you just out of your mind?
Sometimes you can be so nice,
and we really get along,
but as soon as I open your eyes,
and tell you all thats wrong,
You hate me & hate my kids,
and I feel like were in school,
for something they never did,
your the one whos the fool,
I tried to be honest with you,
all I get is shame,
for you make me think,
that my kids are the ones to blame,
When its your son who does it all,
Hes the one fooling you,
cant you see this,
what am I to do?
I like you as a friend,
but your son is hard to bare,
he treats my kids badly,
and you dont seem to care,
We argue about this through & through,
and you always seem to win,
because Its always me,
whos the one that gives in,
I hate to fight & see my kids hurt,
So I grin & bare it,
but you just let it slide,
but I cant seem to forget,
Sometimes I think the devils in him,
but you just see Gold,
him saying its my sons all the time,
really does get kind of old!
I dont know how to tell you,
and even If I did ,
Your son would say I'm lying,
and you'll believe your kid,
So I sit here on my porch at night,
hoping some day it will change,
him not ever starting a fight,
doesnt it sound strange?
I know my boys can do wrong,
as any child can,
but you not believing yours is bad,
Is really rather sad!
He makes you think hes an angel,
But really he lies,
I've seen him do it behind your back,
one day you will see it in his eyes!

Christina, I feel so sorry for that boy.......she (his mother) is not making responsible for his lie!!!
He is the one that will suffer the most, but some day she too will suffer for not caring the most!
I've experienced so many mothers that hide, because they simply don't want or can can't handle the truth......What a shame, that she lets it slide!
Wonderfully written poem......so true, and yet so sad too!
Hang in there......watch out for your crew too!
Love
consue

Yikes!!! Amothers eye is usually blind when it comes to realizing that thier child isnt perfect!! Though it would probably be best for her to realize it now before its to late!! Good luck! Ps I know that we were preg at the same time so I hope all is well and what did you name her???? I had a boy. Lots of fun!!!!

It sounds like he takes after her and that's what's making her mad cause some folks jus don't wonna look in the mirror.
it's a sad situation but I think if it was my kids I'd refuse to let them play with him awhile and when he comes over to play I'd tell him straite out what the problem is.
luv, huggs,
emy
By the way a great write even tho it's sad.
