end of the summer
soft breeze no longer felt
light faded and dust frozen
gone are the days of the summer nights
robbed of warmth and light
the woods stand alone
the leaves finally allowed to fall
the branches snapping with one last gasp
for too long it seems the summer season did last
now nature sets in
with a simplistey that rides with this chill
the falsness of the sun
that wont set
lingures awhile
too hard to forget

You've painted a very vivid and beautiful picture.
Nicely done! |
