Liars

Contributed by rhyme_me_to_sleep on Wednesday, 1st September 2004 @ 08:39:55 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

You shafted me once, you won't do it twice,
soft words, cast spells to send you to hell.
Smooth talker you are, and will always be.

Now your nothing at all to me, caught in your
lies, caught in that web. Oh was it something
that you said.

Think that your smart, witty and wise, blink
those big pretty eyes. Lights are out,
go sit in the dark, lie to yourself if you
please.

These ears are turned off no more to hear,
the lies you tell just to please. Go play with
hearts eager to listen, just remember I'm
watching and will tell all.

Your a liar, smooth talker, and can go to hell.

Yuo really rip the guts outta this subject, and done a really good job about i too.
The emotions just screamed to be heard, and the overall poem just rocked.
Beautifully written and so true, I cant talk much I dont lie anymore, there is nothing to be gained form it, and i was only fooling myself anyway.
Ok Im still good with the way I twist words but now I put it to better use.

I life and all else gives you a better break, and plaese take care always

Kindragon

bloomin great write, ive let myself get way too near to too many of these types of people, and they definately need to be told where to go. which you managed to do fabulously!!! love the flow of the writing, and the anger that builds up as you read along. katie xxx

It seems we have something in common. I've been a little angry with a smooth talker myself. I'm trying to have compassion but it's difficult. He seems to forget who led who on, who lied and who cast the spell. He ended it and now he's mad. I don't get it.

I like this. I can almost feel the rage in your words. Good write. The last line stands out, a conclusion / fact. Thank you.
