The Unending Wait For Sleep

Wavering Darkness
Losing its grip on the night
As saylight slowly leaks through
Shimmering Moon
Makes slowly animated shadows
On my wall
Endless Wait
For sleep long-sought
Still presses onward
Perpetual Thoughts
Race through my mind
As I lay staring at my bleak ceiling
Fleeting Night
Leaving far too soon
Infusing me with Exhaustion

Dude I know this all to well! All you wanna do is sleep...you try all night, but all your mind keeps doing is thinking...amazing what you can come up with during that time, and how tired...sometimes more energized you are in the morning....great poem bro!
