"NO HAND-OUTS FROM LIFE!"
Timebot said,
No "hand outs" from life.....
when desperate you would be.
Best loves come along when
you're not looking, real sneaky!
Best friendships also come,
when you're not desperate and forget.
Not those you try desperately to get!
Life doesn't give many "hand-outs."
'Tis best not to expect any "knock-outs!"
Never disappointed for expecting.....
Pleasantly surprised if found reaping!
To anticipate, to look ahead.
Even presume a situation you'll be misled!
Presumptuousness many times leads to dread
Remain unknowing, prepared instead!
Don't expect comments on your poetry
Create only for the love of the write.
Only one may read it, comment truly.
Unexpected blessing, marvelous highlight!!!
Diminish the value of your treasure?
Few comments make it appear without pleasure?
Not at all!
Your heart's work is not valued by numbers!
Depth of feelings, splendid word weavers!
