The darkness seeps to the corner of my heart
Alone and shaking in the stillness of dark
Malevolent fears and malefic dreads
Tear at my mind, searing my head
and through it all, a poetic dream
I find myself unable to scream
Reach for the light that's fading away
But the vacuum drains the life of day
So by myself I remain, stranded alone
I scream and tear at everything I've done
As if from a nightmare that's come to life
This Life I've been handed I try to take in strife
