I thought I would sit down and cry
'Cause she gave me a punch in the eye,
I thought I'd give back So I went for a snack.
Then I found out the punchbowl was dry.
For those who continue to wonder,
It was a yoyo kind of blunder,
She served much too quick, My eye got a flick,
Besides which her head was a dunder.
I think it is only my duty,
To forgive this doddering beauty,
It could have been worse, a kind of a curse,
I might have to watch Punch (on) Judy
