In the back of my mind I am drowning,
I only wish you cared enought to pull me out.
In this tidal wave ballet,
My fingers dance along the surface.
Swept up with the current,
The waves are waving goodbye blue sky.
It's a ghost ship cemetary.
Masts rise from the waters,
Headstones for those lost;
And champagne still floats thru the night.
The music is getting softer,
As my heart does the waltz with the reaper.
All the while I scream to speak
Just to hear the echo avalanche.
Hoping you can hear me over the symphony of strings.

Man, "ghost ship cemetary"... this is some cool ****! You did your thang with this theme quite masterfully. It's exciting to see someone's work I really dig. You get the old Mothy-BruceCampbell-EvilDead-"Groovee" for this one. --Mothy |

This is a great write. I especially liked the lines "It's a ghost ship cemetary." and "The music is getting softer,
As my heart does the waltz with the reaper.
All the while I scream to speak
Just to hear the echo avalanche." Pure genious. Bravo. |

Eerie. Unsettling even. You really set the tone!
Great use of metaphor and imagery.
