Recovering Death

Contributed by silverjade on Monday, 30th August 2004 @ 10:17:19 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

spear of darkness
piercing me.
bleeding life
through my wound
i grab a cloth
to soak it up
but it slowly vanished.
iam free at last
i feel the freedom
i feel the release
of all that holded me down
now i can see
iam alive
i breath
slowly taking air inside
i breath
i cry
for i realize
iam alive,
one more time.

They keep saying "what doesn't kill us will make us stronger". I think I am finally believing that. We just have trust in our own strength and viability. This is a great write.
