war

Iron falling like hail,
Boys praying,
Some swearing.
No place to swear.
1:30, The zero hour
Baptism of fire,
My reception
Bullets flying like raindrops,
Shrapnel bursting,
Deadly iron
The destruction of man
All around you
Dead and wounded
Crying for the almighty
Pleading,
Eyes for death.
Day breaks.
