Death is creeping
Ever present
Never stopping
It is always sent
From God death is a blessing
A beginning not an end
To some it may seem gloomy
But I see the glory in it my friend
God’s prepared a place for us,
A place for us to live
Death is the beginning
It does not wait for us to send
Some may fill with sorrow
After such a loss
I just grin from ear to ear
And marvel at the cross
Jesus died to free us
From the death of soul
Jesus died to save us
Even though we don’t want to go
We should grin and bear it
Just let it take us away
For when it does we’ll say that
There has finally come a day
A day for us to worship him
A day for us to sing
But we will not get there
If us, death does not bring

:p funny thing for a suicidal freak to step upon, but yes, I am a Christian and I long for death but can't have it... nonetheless your poem spoke to me and i thought you spoke everything good.. well done.

I'm speechless!..I'm looking forward to seeing you there. I just feel bad for the ones that won't get to enjoy that eternal joy that God has so graciously prepared. Keep em' comin! |
