I can not reach

She is so close
but so distant
i could almost touch her
but i can not reach

She likes to avoid me
that which it seems
but when she ask for help
i can not reach

She only wants me
if she is in need
she extends her hand
i will not reach

Where were you
when i needed you?
this is sad but true
i will never reach out for you.
