You push me, hit me, slap me with your words of hate
Just because I said something wrong or I was late
When when I'm on the floor
And I can't take it anymore
You break out with love, and your lame excuse
It's normal, it's fine, it's not abuse
You say your sorry and you won't do it anymore
I'm left with bruises, black eyes and a heart that's torn
You're left with the feeling that you've won
And when I don't do what I'm told, this is what needs to be done
You know all you have to say is sorry, I love you
And I come crawling back like a fool
But not this time
I'm not going to pretend it's normal, that it's fine
This time I'm not going to leave with a black eye
I'm just going to stand up and say good-bye
This time you're left with the feeling you're not so tough
And I'm left with knowing that it's all over and I've finally had enough

Wow, I LOVE this! I know someone who was in an abusive relationship. Shes the strongest person I think I will ever know. She made it through it, and I'm proud of you for doing the same.
