An epiphany of divine

Contributed by cj_ranson on Monday, 30th August 2004 @ 06:02:53 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

You know exactly what you broke
And I heard all the words of which you spoke
Words of a lie
Words of a very grey sky
Tattered and worn, as my spirits grow cold
Quietly I wait, but im growing old
I waited for you to love me
Waited for too long and only now I see

Upon the steps of heavens gate
Is where my soul and hopes will wait
Until a day when blind eyes open
And minds of old can see again
That is when I will love once more
That is when you will be mine to adore
Once a fool, always a fool
I was stupid to have even tried
It was a lost cause, basically suicide

I wake now lying cheated and played
And now God tells me why I stayed
For love that was a fake!!
And a broken life only for your sake!!
Now the world will be doomed
Over it now an eternal shadow has loomed
Because when you ***** with me
You ***** with them
Now I can only say
You my dear are going to pay

You wasted my time
You wasted my breath
You wasted my life up until death
You sucked light from all
And it is now that you will fall
I have back now all that was mine
And now I see an epiphany of divine
