Distant Love,
I love the way you kiss me
And the way you touch my hair
Why do we have to live so far apart?
Life is so unfair
I love you dearly, Tim
Even though were far apart
Not a day goes by
With out your love in my heart
I miss the way you look at me
With those bold blue eyes
Ever since the day I met you
I knew it would be hard to say our goodbyes
I love the way you love me
Just the way I was born
I knew I would never have to change
And we would never ever be torn
One day we will be together at last
Just me and you
All our worries will disappear
Because I know I love is true

I like the way you've expressed sentiments - like stating facts. At times love poems tend towards mushy, but yours doesn't.
