Many emotions released, yet vivid, and it had a unique rythem to it.

Interesting. This poem generates visions which you are perhaps aware of, then again may not be.
Whilst the words paint a dark picture, they are by far overshadowed by the rhythm. After a few reads, the words become blurs and lose their meanings, and the compulsion is to re-read the poem to savour the rhythm, which I would describe as primeal.
Primeal rhythm is marked by distinguishing effects and sensations.
I wonder if you see it from this angle.
