My Armageddon

Contributed by PoeticMystery on Saturday, 28th August 2004 @ 11:37:24 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The sun setted for the final time in our world
Its fire, the scourching flames,
Which once was our light that we always turned to,
Now setted in our world to burn everything in sight
Yet the flames were unnatural for they were ice cold
Frozen flames seem to burn everything
I watched as everything fell apart before my eyes
Armageddon consumed our passion of being in love
Many times I felt like I was the only one
Walking around, lifelessly, in this cold dark world
The only warmth I was able to attain was from my tears
So painful it burned my eyes and my cheeks.
Yet the frozen fire did not even scourch the secrets and memories
A world that only belonged to you and I
Remember how everything we touched was ours
We marked our territory all around our world
Making sure no one could ever take over
Or Ever take part or even ever forget
But what used to be such a blessing
Has turned into my enemy.
The secrets and memories was left
The fire had forsaken it,
Thinking it would be my murderer
And it came so close
Attacked me when I was walking down the street,
Raped me in my sleep,
Beat me until there was but an inch left in my life
Somehow I survived it all
I wondered why-still questioning my existence
Now, my ten thousand angels caught my perpetrator
Put him away forever, so I can go on with my life
Never forgetting but realizing
The only reason I survived was because nothing was truly real
Reality only exist when it is from God
Christ's will is the only real world
How funny that I would see my life ending before my eyes,
Unable to stop it and gaining endless pain from it all-
When it is not even real.
The only reality of it all was the sun shining in the beginning
When it setted and became a frozen fire all around me is when
I escaped into my own man-made hell

A story of your life, a mystery about you, a freedom you obtained through pain.
I liked the way you composed this, it was a very emotional read, with so many feeling released in an exploding dam, You have have touched upon many a touchy subject, and I can see what you ewent though to get where you are now.
I hope the pain is lessened some what, and that life gives you a better break than it has in the past.

Please take care always

Kindragon
