Swift Boat Ads have made their debut,
Kerry himself brought them to view,
Proud of his stint in Vietnam,
Linking his past now to Saddam,
Wanting to be the Commander In Chief,
Believing that he can find the U. S. relief,
He has a few medals from his army days,
He relives his past almost like a play,
Now opposition has come into view,
Stating that Kerry’s version is untrue,
What to believe ~ What does it matter?
Time is now ego ~ The past is now clatter.
Vietnam is over ~ A war of the past,
Iraq is now ~ A whole different caste,
The enemy is deviant from what was known,
War and terrorism have truly grown,
The enemies aren’t soldiers dressed in gear,
Civilians are now the villains to fear,
Clerics and Temples now play a part,
Asylum isn’t given ~ Neither is God’s Heart.

Swift boat ads ~ True or not,
Bigger issues should replace this spot,
The Economy ~ Medical Insurance,
Social Security ~ National Endurance,
Issues of today are needed on the slate,
Because America’s future just can’t wait.
