Under the moon, in shadows
I exist
Real and true, even if only
A wish
Oh! when the sun falls down again
Close your eyes, baby - picture me then
You’ll find the door to possibility there
Throw it open and ascend the stairs
I’m waiting there to lead you down the hall
Ready to catch you if you should fall
Wishes are meant to one day come true
And in dark of night, I will come to you
Standing near enough for you to tell
That dreams extend beyond stairwells
And baby, if you dream well enough
You’ll feel the brush of my gentle touch
Oh! reach for me and promise that when
The moonlight’s music plays again
You'll follow me into shadowed rooms
Time is short, dawn is coming soon
My hand waits in the darkness at your side
Dream, baby, and put your hand in mine
Under the moon, in shadows
I exist

Amazing. Simply touching and awesome. Great job, I love the way you slip in the rhymes, but not noticeably. Good write thanks for sharing.

SSSmoking!! sensuous and beautiful, full of aching longings as well as the promise of dreams and desires fullfulled if the committment is there.
I really liked the collars and cuffs touches here, particularly the lovely verse at the end. It repeats itself in the mind so easily. Well constructed, and a beautiful theme,

Oh My God!
This is just wonderful!
The flow and rhythem are beautiful, but the content!
On the surface it's wistfull and even sensual,
Underneath the words there are avenues upon avenues... hopes, dreams, wishes, possibilities!
I love this! I find the the whole idea extemely appealing! |

This is great!! A mix of romance, mystical and spiritual emotion, sensuality, a touch of the lyrical and the inadvertant rhyme all blend together. KUDOS!!!
