Love is patient
And so I wait
Love is caring
And you are the only one
I shall wait patiently and caring until the day arrives
That I bring a smile upon your face
That you long to be with me and I with you
Then we will spend the rest of our lives together
Time will slow to a gentle pace
As we look into each other’s eyes
Our minds will go to that special place
Where our hearts abide and our dreams fly
Our hands will touch
And we will wish for nothing more
Than each other as our hearts rush
And our love soars
Sitting side by side
No need to speak
Together we will be one
And just the presence of the other
Is all we’ll need
