What I See In The Future

What I See In The Future

The months have begin to roll,
And You have come to a decision,
A decision that has absolutly taken the last,
The last breath out of my broken body.

You found the right one,
When all along I thought it was me,
But instead it's him,
Your knight in shining armour,
And I'm not even your joker.

I knew this was going to happen,
But I choose not to admit it.

I cried,
For what seemed like an eternity,
While we discused it 'hypothetically'
The thought alone rips me apart.

When it became a reality,
It was like putting the gun in my mouth,
And my love for you,
Pulled the trigger.
But I didn't die,
Instead I lied there,
Motionlessly, emotionally,
Torn and tattered...

I love you,
Even though you no longer love me...

wow! as far as your poetry goes you're excellent at it.
but try to not think for the worse. all the rotting thoughts and pain will more than liekl amn you up inside and then if it does happen then it will be more unbareble...
just tink about it... is it worth it?

Heartwrenching. There's an awful lot in those few words. You trapped it (the pain) in this write. Any one that has known heartbreak will be left aching for having read this. Powerful.

One who hates hypothetical conversations,

Very good write. Too bad sometimes we can't let love die as easily as it sometimes starts
