i am a dreamer i see what tries to hide in my mind
i look in places most would rather not know about
i see my dream and i follow where it may lead me
i cannot ignore this world beyond normal reach
what are dreams for but to grab and run

dreams are made from taking chances to explore
dreams happen because we make them happen
if we dont take them we will always wish we had
i dont want to ever regret i had missed my chance
what are dreams for but to grab and run

when you are too cautious you never see the star twinkle
reach for that star and fly with it see the world while you can
being a dreamer isnt bad but its not for everyone were all different
if you can never go beyond the cautious is wasnt meant to be
what are dreams for but to grab and run

dreamers show up at any age we never know when or why it happens
if we are dreamers it will just appear suddenly its up to us to act or not
some people just cant take chances its not their style but thats ok
but there will always be enough dreamers who do follow their dreams
what are dreams for but to grab and run

I totally understand where you are coming from. for i too am a dreamer. excellent job.

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
