innocent blood

Topic: DarkPoetry

underneath the stars
the city of unknown awaits
the names forgotton
places damp a stray
the night crawls on
and the innocent screams grow louder
the feast is now begun
the living are the prey
no-one is safe
for the dead are rising from their watery graves
the rotten flesh searches
for the virginity they long to bite
the blood of the innocent virgins
will be drank before long
and stripped of all light
and be raped into the dark
the eyes buldge as they seek their victim
a young girl only thirteen
meets their greedy eyes
their filth and dark ways
glide over
they sense the beauty
the innocent life
they smile...
ready to rape and strip her of everything she bares
she notices their presence
and she screams out loud
no-one can hear
no-one can see!
she is alone with these monsters of the dark
left to be eaten by the dead
she strugles as they reach her
they lick their decomposed lips
she shuts her eyes and listens of the deep laughing
they are apon her
eating her flesh
drinking her blood
they are raping her soul
she cries out
as her innocent blood
reaches the ground...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
