Go Figure

Contributed by the_story_of_the_year on Friday, 27th August 2004 @ 01:10:43 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Time to roll back my eyes and think of you again
Time to go over the things you and I said
Stare at the ceiling and try to re-live old feelings
That I had for you

Another lidless night of my eyes pretending to see you
Moves into my dreams where I can finally believe you

Go figure, I'm still not over you

Creep through the halls hoping you wont hear the things you've done
That have brought me down with you
But always waiting for you to come

I think you'd rather see me at your feet than at your side
I think you'd rather see someone else than see yourself inside

For the record I never stopped looking for you
It's worth it to me if it's worth anything to you

You forgot to keep some things inside
Putting facts in front, pushing love (me) to the side

Go figure that I'd be writing you this song
I hope you feel more than welcome to sing along
