I'm tangled in a web of truthful lies.
I'm sure the perfect angels sigh,
while fallen angel beckon for my sole,
trying to turn my heart to coal.
I'm caught between what I need and want.
The razor blade a deadly taunt.
Being forward with those held dear
seems to cause nothing but tears.
Sanity sneers
while happiness jeers.
Yet somehow smiles come 'cross my lips,
through my emotional perks and dips.

the point of doing the right thing if your just gonna get slapped in the face...your asking for a point to it.......there isn't one......and the only reason we're made to believe we're supposed to do the "right" thing is because thats how society poisons us......there is no point to it in the end.....just think about it for a second......why do we try to do the right thing? it's because doing the right thing has been placed in our head since the day we were born.....it's because we were told to do it and now we're expected to.....
see...no point.....it's all just ...because.
and i end this really long coment by saying, you wrote a really good poem here, it was expressed so well....
and,
in the end it's all a lie, we learn the truth and then we die...... |
