So Lost In Our Tragic Lives...

Contributed by pyrofungus on Thursday, 26th August 2004 @ 03:06:26 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

A hand reaches out to me
From the black clouds above
It grabs me by my hair
And pulls me into the clouds
There I am held
And I stand watching
All of the people
That I’ve known
Through the years
There they are before me
Acting out their livid lives
So locked up with their fears
They live in their sadness
Thriving off other’s anger
Hurting each other
Such a tragic sight
One that will not end
The crushed faces
With tears in their eyes
So lost in who they are
And where they belong
They look for answers
But don’t find any
So they continue on…
In this world
Lost in their tragic lives…

I really like your point of view in this one. Standing out watching what goes on in life. Gives me something to think about.
Thank you. I'll try not to be caught up too much in my own life to see that other people suffer from my actions. Thanks again for that beam of light.
Take care.
David
