Life's tomb...

Go beneath my skin,
And eat away at me like you always do...
Make my crimson eyes shed tears once more,
Over something that doesn't deserve them...
Lifeless corpse,
Deteriorating slowly, every moment I think of you...
My heart, a shriveled piece of nothing,
Lost inside the vast blackness in me,
Where my once-bright soul used to be...
A sense of hopelessness and despair envelops my battered body,
And I can do nothing to stop myself from falling again...
Letting Them take me...
Dig a tomb, a surface of Terror that traps the soul......
The ground grew with misery and hid itself deep within the body,
So deep, that it only lives in echo...
Seemingly endless...
There are times in which only tears run from my springs,
But these humid tracks never relfect the true pain that surrounds them...
They are so silent, merely whispers...
Without words,
Absent in the tumult of existing among vagabond dreams and ethereal joys...
And where is the thread that spawns them,
Where?
The wheel advances in circles,
And nostalgia without branches...
The world is chaotic,
And only suffering understands it...

| Dam this was so powerful it jumped off the screen and grabbed me by the throat. The esscence of pain and suffering was expressed so tragicaly, yet so beautifuly. Great write. DarkFey |

Holy ---- !!! Wow ! That has some power to it. I went back over it again three, make it four times now and I must say that of your works that I have read ... This is my current favorite. I will go research to be certain, but damn ... what a write !!!
