BROKEN CHAPSTICK

Contributed by Alina on Wednesday, 25th August 2004 @ 03:34:52 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

My Broken Chapstick
Lies on the sink
With blood dripping from my heart
Away my thoughts start to think

Years of trying
To please her evil demon
But she hasn't changed
So what the **** is this meaning.

Loosing my fight
To her evil call
My mother, my evil
She alwyas makes me fall

Tried so hard
Given every last breath
I'm falling and sinking
To this death

Why try anymore
Because every door stays closed
Even the door of her love
The one I had to have chose

Please just let me be mother
Let me float away
My relapses are to vast
For me to save

Just let things be the same old
I'd be happier back in his grasp
The grasp of my Pushers hands
Tired of trying.... living life to dame fast.

My broken chapstick
Lays on the sink
As I look at it
This is what I think

My broken chapstick
In it's shattered beauty
Tired of trying
Just give up on me.

It's funny how the broken chapstick is so intergrale in a poem about this kind of subject, but it works, and it works well...

I like it, and thanks for sharing it... I know that it must have been tough..
