Forever Wishing Upon A Star

Forever wishing upon a star,
That I will be taken away so far,
Away from all the hurt & pain,
Somewhere I can breathe again.
I look sadly into the night sky,
Wondering & thinking why?
Why my star is ignoring me,
Letting me suffer & letting me be.
I long to feel happy inside,
Instead I feel like a part of me has died,
This is the way that I live my days,
I think that this feeling is here to stay.
My star is supposed to answer my wish,
I’m in a big pond, I am but a little fish,
When I lay my head down at night,
I hold onto the hope so tight.
I hope that I’ll wake up, not feeling alone,
That I will have some flesh on my bones,
But my wishes & prayers go unnoticed,
It seems like I have yet again been missed.

Hey cheer up nothing stays bad forever. If you're patient your wishes may come true. And you're never alone you'll always have friends and family. Everyone gets there turn at happiness it just might take alot longer to reach you or anyone else (lol like me for example) so dont think you've been missed your time will come. Great poem I can relate to feeling that way so many times it aint even funny ^_^

| Pixie this one reallt touched me, I feel as if I am on an eternal quest to find happiness and rid my-self of lonliness. That is our holy grail and someday it will be filled, keep wishing and smile you are not questing alone. Great write as they all have been to me, DarkFey |

Oh my goodness that is an awesome poem!!! You are so very talented and just to let you know you are my favorite poet on this web site you are awesome!!!!!!! Please keep writing and telling your thoughts. This way you don't bottle up and feel as bad. Well you still feel bad but like I said no AS bad. Once again great poem and keep up the awesomeness!!!
