Come here sorrow
Lie with me a while
Old friends
You and I
My name rolls off your tongue
And yours right off mine
Until we are talked into each other
You have been my blood, sweat and tears
Risen and fallen asleep in your arms
Tumbled into my drems
And out again
Into a darkness
Into a fear
That defies explanation
Or definition
And here we are again tonight
When I thought I'd just said
Goodbye
Courting the idea of one last time
Inviting you in
Letting you invade my space
Until all I am is you
And you are me
Lost to each other
In love
In hate
In this our
Twisted fate.
