When you give in
You have nothing to lose
You start to inflict pain
On yourself
Just to feel like
You have a reason
To feel the way you do
But you soon realize
That it takes out your frustration
And slowly you start to feel a little better
Yet no one can really know
Because they don’t understand
They don’t know the feeling you get from it
From hurting yourself
The relief you get.
But if someone does find out
They expect you to change
They expect you to stop
But what they don’t realize
Is how you start to feel after
You try to stop
You feel hopeless
Like there is no reason to live
You get lost and confused
You don’t know why you feel the way you do
You can’t describe or even know why
You feel the way you do
