Lucky to Have a Friend Like You
August 23, 2004
I still cannot quite see the flare,
That makes two people, passing by,
Begin to talk, begin to share,
And make it so on this person, I rely.
If only I knew the secret,
The key to finding that friend,
I could have many, and show you how,
And the friendships would never end.
But until I find the answer,
I’ll make my friends slow and true,
And I’ll sit and I’ll wonder,
How I ever befriended you.

great poem!
my best friend...i was like drawn to her man...it was insane...i just felt like i had to talk to her like i was supposed to...it was so weird lol!
2 of my poems are about her one nice and one mean: Never Cared and A Friend...
