When The Time Is Right...

Suicide

Crimson blood drips down silently.
It splashes on the floor.
I hear the noise as the drops fall down.
And they scream out for no more!
Black silence fills the room,
As more poison becomes re-moved.
A shell of blood coats my arm,
My breath is fast, and I can't feel calm.
I can't quit!
So I’ll never be free.
I’m a self-harmer,
THIS IS ME.
I wake with the thoughts circling in my head.
I shake at the thought of ending up dead.
... Yet, I’ll wait my turn,
Then take a knife to my skin.
Because this borderline burns.
Like a pierce of an open edged tin.
This addiction is tough,
And I can't take the wait.
Of holding on,
And getting more drained.
So I’ll wait a bit,
Until the time is right.
Then slit my wrist.
'Coz life's a worthless fight...

Again, good job. the courage is still there. poetry is a good release of emotions. from someone who again can relate to your thoughts here, I say well done. |

Great write. I hope you don't try it again. Stick to writing about it. It helps release the pain and anger.
