Personal War and Love

Contributed by Alina on Monday, 23rd August 2004 @ 11:41:23 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

They sit there and wait
Through the cold nights air
Staring at the stars with their blank stare

Wondering when it will come
When the day will be over
Chasing their addiction
Wanting to stay sober

"When will she leave me ?" he wonders
" When will he care?"
They sit there and love
Through the nights cold air

But the power of hate is to strong
They search for a place to rest
To lay their head forever
Because they were always only second best

Two lovers they were in this world
Yet they didn't understand
They didn't know how to accept
The others helping hand

They fall in and out of addiction
And chase it through the night
With the cold air brushing upon their faces
Loosing their life to this endless
Pointless fight!!

So when they finally lay
And find a peacful feeling
Him and her will say
" Let's begin our healing."

Start from the very end
And learn to love again
Waiting in that cold night air
And staring at the stars
Waiting for their Pusher's dreams
And waiting to only again
Loose their Personal War!

For Simon Palacios and Humberto "PWee" Martinez
( two men who stole my heart in their own personal way )

You touch upon alot of issues in this piece and I canrelate to from years ago. The low self esteemthinking it will be differnt this time and still knowing you've got to end the cycle.
Nice write. Been there.
