The death of this supernova
Burns within my heart.
The blackhole it creates,
Leaves me numb and void.
The emotions I once held,
Die off into memories.
Like a match-head flame,
Drowning in a pool.
So now I sit here
Waiting to die,
Waiting for hope,
And hoping for life

I know these emotions well. This touches a trigger of pain in my heart and soul. Great piece of emotion.

Great poem, very emotoinal. It hits home with me, and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that feels this way sometimes. Nice job.

Ahhhh.............why doesn't God help you then?
Look to yourself for the answers, not anywhere else. |

Short, simple, and sensational.
I was going to quote some of this wonderful work, but I had nearly the whole thing highlighted.
Well done. Well done!
Great wordplay in those final four lines.
