Topic: oops

Its getting Cold Outside
And I know, You are out there somewhere.

I can feel your chill, in my bones.
And yet, we are apart .
I can still smell you ...
and close my eyes and
feel your touch .

But
Your out there
and I am in here .
Warm, Much Loved and Safe.

How sad that We can not be as equal
with out any one getting hurt.
Oh, how we tired ,
I still remember, what prehap should have never been.

But still I wonder
If just at that moment, you first said those words
and I them to you .
Did we really know how committed
I would be to you after such a long time ago?

Through all the Highs and Lows of life -we helped each other .
You lost control and I regained mine.
Yet still
I have ,it seems like Forever,
helped you along .

Still in the quiet of the darkest nights
and the happiest of moments I have now
I still Wonder How you are.
Not as Lovers any longer, but just simply as Friends.

I still have that warm and fuzzy feeling
when ever you come near .
But as time will have it ,
Its all been kept in Check.

But still somehow
I feel how Cold You are
And I watch and wonder ...Where you are out there.
Still

Whisper this is an excellent poem, and gave me goosebumps! If you felt the cold....then it's not love but a possession. Stay away, turn away...have nothing more to do with them, they will suck you in, and destroy you if given half the chance!!
