I know a place where we can go to be alone
A place where we can sit and admire the view
A place where we can be us and be with
each other forever
A place where we can sit in each other's arms
and never let go
A place where we aren't separated by the miles
that are between us
And most of all a place where we can
speak our minds and not worry if
someone is around
A place where we can cuddle on the sofa
all day if we wanted to
A place where we can finally be together
Maybe one day we can visit this place
But right now this place is in our hearts
And no one can take it away from us
I know a place where we can go to be alone
A place that will always be ours alone

Lovely write again Candice,
I've tried too hard all my life to find this place, thinking I'd found it once. But this turned out to be only a mirage!

It is a shame that more people can't find this place. A place where dreams meet the everyday and holding hands is still okay.
