You ask me is this a dream
or is this really happening to me.
This isn't a dream, it is happening to you and me.
We'll make it through,
trust me.
We've come this far, we can't quit now.
I invite you in, for you to break me down.
But by the time you leave, you say you're sorry, and that you didn't mean it.
I'm here to say no more of you hurting me.
No more inviting you into my life.
