Leaving my heart within your hands.
Will I be alright or am I making a mistake.
Loving you comes easy, yet I'm still scared I'll lose.
Aching within because of the fear that holds me in place.
Loving isn't hard to do, but losing you could break me in two.
Why I chose you, I already know by now, I'm sure.
Looking away from the past,
moving toward the future.
I'm scared to give you my dignity, scared I'll regret it later down the road.
If you love me with the truth,
Please have proof.
Whatever that proof would be.

letting someone hold the key to your heart is a scary thing, take a chance of you might regret it for the rest of your life, regrets are almost as hard as heartache...
