I have planted my poisoned seed,
Inside you it will grow & breed,
Causing you to suffer a great deal,
I am so sorry I made you feel.
Hurt has made me lash out,
Fill me up with anger & doubt,
I didn’t want to feel alone anymore,
So I pulled you through my door.
It was a cruel thing I did & I am sorry,
Now that I have infected you with worry,
I just wanted someone to understand,
I have now forced you to take my hand.
I have said many things to you in the past,
& I know that he hurt you feel will last,
I am evil & very unfeeling,
It is your happiness that I’m stealing.
Just get out before it’s too late,
Don’t let me inject your promising fate,
Leave me to rot in my own hell,
I know how to hurt & I do it so well.
I push away the man who adores,
Me right into my inner cores,
Because I fear that me he will hurt,
So that is why I get in there first.
I hate the way that I have become,
Tearing at hearts & making them numb,
Lashing out as a way of defence,
From my anger is where I find my strength.
I use it as a deadly weapon,
I shout, hit, scream & threaten,
I know no love & no compassion,
So destroy me, please let it happen.
