Crows will Call

Topic: psychoticpoems

Sunny day,
or not, and grey.

the crows will call
the crows will call...

You sit inside
and vultures then,
outside they wait and soar...

See, you don't see them
you are blind
pasting pictures on a crimson wall;

but love is gone
and crows will call...

Within shattered window's shards and splinter
you sit and stare
you're sitting there,

one hand on her picture...
one on self...

Hyenas howl and laugh and lie
waiting for their time...

(they know it won't be long)
and crows will call

Today you sag,
your skin is grey
her blood creeps down your chest,
her blindfold never hiding what would come

Now matted hair embrace blue lips
screams of terror interrupt,
forever you will sleep together now...

Leopards, cougars, carnivores,
sudden pause on paws of pacing,
They slowly rise to you:
the crows have called.
