Pretty little girl all alone,
locks herself in her black hole.
Begins to lose grip on reality,
no-one to confide in, she seeks only mental suicide.
Inside her nightmares she's foreseen it,
the cruel demise of her life.
She's seen ruby red falling waterfalls,
and departing rivers that leave her heart cold.
And as her pretty eyes begin to close,
she realizes that she was actually loved.
It's funny how when we get so low,
it can sometimes wake us up.
But she's drifted so far down this lonely river,
the happy pills can no longer keep her here.
So tonight she'll dance with the Angels,
and sing 'what a night for the rain to pour'
